Have you noticed the plethora of unicorn, well, everything recently? There’s certainly no shortage of unicorn picture books that have come out recently! So, I guess it’s time I weigh in on my favorite unicorn picture books.

Do You Believe in Unicorns? by Bethanie Deeney Murguia
Is it a unicorn? Or just a horse with a hat? Is it a castle spire, or is that the unicorn’s horn? I love how this book leaves it up to the reader. Believing is seeing!
Unicorn Day by Diana Murry illustrated by Luke Flowers
This fun, rhyming book reminds me of Teddy Bears’ Picnic, but for unicorns! But what happens when someone who’s not a unicorn shows up? This magical book is full of bright, colorful illustrations with a big dose of friendship.
Not Quite Narwhal by Jessie Sima
Kelp has always known she is different from the other narwhals, but, until she swam to shore, she never realized she was a unicorn. Kelp loves her new unicorn friends, but when she misses the ocean, can she find a way to be both a unicorn and a narwhal?
